Plantastic LOW MAINTENANCE Mix is a premium blend of specially-processed natural ingredients that includes slow-release plant food. It is used for potted plants -- not as a fertilizer -- but as a replacement for soil. The potting mix releases nutrients whenever the moisture and temperature levels are right, so your plants get controlled doses of plant food -- for up to 4 months outdoors, or 9 months to a year on patios and indoors. After this period, simply replenish with new slow-release fertilizers that you can purchase from garden shops or topdress the pot with compost.
