Red Earth is an Easy Way to a Green Thumb

Here's the weekend gardener's dream come true! If you want the therapy of nature despite your heavy workload, then Plantastic RED EARTH is your lazy-gardening must.

Plantastic RED EARTH is a premium blend of specially-processed natural ingredients that includes slow-release plant food. It is used for potted plants -- not as a fertilizer -- but as a replacement for soil. Use it instead of soil in pots if you're growing ornamental plants, especially high-maintenance flowering plants. (For edible plants, use organically-enriched Enrico or Mediterranea soil-less potting mix for optimum nutrient content, aroma and maximum flavor from your kitchen garden.)

Plantastic RED EARTH gives your potted flowering plants enough food rations for several months. How does it do it? Through carefully measured levels of chemical fertilizers mixed right in so it's ready-to-use! The soil-less potting mix releases nutrients whenever the moisture and temperature levels are right, so your plants get controlled doses of plant food -- for up to 4 months outdoors, or 9 months to a year on patios and indoors. After this period, simply replenish with new slow-release fertilizers that you can purchase from garden shops or topdress the pot with compost. Slow-Release Fertilizer

After your potted plants have spent four months outdoors, or nine months to a year indoors, replenish the slow-release fertilizers in Plantastic RED EARTH, or topdress monthly with compost.

  • RED EARTH is perfect for those who constantly need to balance work and relaxation. It feeds your potted flowering and foliage ornamentals while you relax -- through slow-release fertilizers mixed into the formula.

  • If you do find the time and wish to boost bloom production, feel free to supplement with foliar feeding at 1/4 the recommended strength no more than once a week.

  • Red Earth retains moisture well, which means watering may not have to be daily. When you water, water thoroughly until water comes out of the drainage holes. Water only when the surface is dry.
